Everything you need to know
Detailed information about this piece — tap a section to expand.
A round tabletop sits on a tree trunk base with the bark still on. Two mushroom cap shelves grow from the trunk at different heights, one on each side, adding display space between the tabletop and the floor. The trunk bark is dark and rough. The tabletop and mushroom caps are sanded smooth in a lighter golden tone. The two-tone contrast is natural, not painted.
Our Vietnamese artisans carve every piece by hand from solid wood. The tabletop, the trunk, and both mushroom caps come from the same material. The grain flows from the trunk base upward through the round top surface. The bark texture on the trunk is kept intact during carving.

Round tabletop
The top surface is flat, smooth, and circular with visible wood grain rings. Wide enough for a coffee cup, a book, a lamp, or a small tray. The edge follows the natural shape of the wood, slightly irregular rather than machine-cut perfectly round.
Two mushroom cap shelves on the trunk
One cap extends to the left, one to the right, both at different heights below the tabletop. Each cap is hand-shaped with a curved surface and gill carving on the front-facing underside. The caps hold a small potted plant, a remote, a candle, or a coaster. They add two extra surfaces without increasing the table footprint on the floor.
Bark trunk base
The trunk keeps its raw bark exterior, dark and textured with natural cracks and ridges. The bark gives the table a grounded, organic presence next to a sofa or bed. The base is solid and stable on any flat surface.
Fully customizable
Tabletop diameter, table height, cap count (1 to 3), trunk finish (bark or smooth), wood species, and top finish tone are all adjustable. Tell us your space and we build the right table.
What makes this different
Most mushroom side tables are just a round top on a plain stem. This one keeps the bark on the trunk, adds two functional mushroom cap shelves with gill carving, and uses natural two-tone contrast between the rough dark trunk and the polished light top and caps. It works as a side table, a bedside table, a plant stand, or a sofa-side accent.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
