The dining table guide
A table that seats everyone.
Count the chairs. Measure the room.
In your room
- Placement
- Leave room to pull chairs out and walk behind them.
- Finish
- Compare wood tones with your kitchen cabinets.
Start with the chairs.
Count how many people usually eat together and how many you host. A common guide is about 24 inches of table edge per seat. Our dining and bar tables run from around 48 inches to 120 inches long.
Ask about a custom size
Pick the shape for the room.
A round or pedestal table suits a small kitchen and keeps conversation close. A long table seats more and lines up with a wall or island. A bar height table works for a quick breakfast spot.

A top that lives with you.
Every top is solid hardwood with its own grain, so no two tables match. A smooth surface shows the figure of the wood with a soft sheen; a natural rough surface keeps more texture. Wipe spills quickly either way.

Before you choose
As a guide, allow about 24 inches of table edge per person, so a table around 72 inches long seats six comfortably on a rectangle. Send us your room measurements and we will suggest a size and shape.
Yes. Our tables are made to order and custom lengths are available on request. Book a consultation or contact us with your measurements before ordering.
Wipe it with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals such as bleach or ammonia. Wipe up spills quickly, keep the table out of direct sunlight and use a level floor.
