MEET OUR ARTIST

“In the workshop, the youngest hands sometimes find the lines the older eyes have stopped seeing.”
Nhan Kim is the youngest man in the workshop - and definitely the one who asks the most questions.
Why do it this way instead of that way? Why use this oil? Why not try a different cutting angle?
At first, some of the older craftsmen found that a little annoying. These days, they actually wait for his questions, because every now and then one of them leads to a technique nobody had thought about before.
Nhan Kim specializes in smaller, detail-heavy pieces like mushroom floating shelves and wave wall shelves, where precision matters just as much as creativity. He has a habit of noticing tiny details other people overlook - which is probably why his work feels surprisingly alive for pieces so small.
The workshop likes to joke that he asks questions faster than anyone can answer them.
The uncomfortable part is… sometimes he’s asking the right question.
