Architectural Geometry for Gracious Living Spaces
Make a striking, grounded impression from the moment you step through the entryway with our crisscross X trestle base solid wood console table. Merging artisanal joinery traditions with airy modern geometry, this statement piece features dual X-frame trestle pedestals supporting a softly contoured tabletop and an integrated lower display shelf. It bridges sculptural interest with essential everyday utility, elevating entry foyers, hallway corridors, and living room perimeters into warm, intentional focal points.
The Authentic Integrity of Real Solid Timber
Handcrafted entirely from authentic solid wood, every plane and structural joint honors the natural depth of real timber. Unlike synthetic composite boards or thin laminates that wear at the edges, genuine solid timber displays continuous grain paths, subtle tonal variations, and an unmistakable physical presence that deepens with age. Sealed with a protective, breathable low-luster matte coating, the surface protects against everyday keys, incidental moisture, and dust while keeping the organic touch of the wood completely tactile.
Why Choose This Console Table?
- Sculptural X-Frame Trestle Foundation: Dynamic geometric crisscross legs provide exceptional architectural balance, stability, and open visual airflow.
- Soft Pill-Contoured Tabletop: Gently rounded outer corners eliminate sharp edges, ensuring safe, graceful circulation in busy entryways and corridors.
- Three Functional Utility Drawers: Fitted with slim horizontal bronze-toned hardware pulls, three smooth pull-out drawers keep mail, keys, electronics, and daily essentials organized and out of sight.
- Integrated Lower Staging Deck: An expansive bottom shelf offers dedicated space for staging coffee table books, woven storage baskets, or decorative ceramic vessels.
- Ideal Placement: Exquisite positioned in welcoming entry foyers beneath an oversized mirror, behind floating living room sofas, along formal gallery hallways, or in refined dining room transitions.
Tailored Dimensions & Custom Craftsmanship
- Substantial Timber Profile: Crafted with a sturdy, reassuring timber profile across the tabletop, drawer modules, and cross-braced trestle base to ensure generational longevity.
- Custom Sizing: Seeking an extended length for large foyers, a slimmer depth for narrow corridors, or adjusted proportions? We build to custom dimensions upon request. Adjustments to overall proportions are available for an additional fee. Please contact our customer support team to discuss your custom project.
Honest Limitations to Keep in Mind
- Inherent Timber Character: Because each console is handcrafted from authentic solid timber, natural grain variations, organic knot markings, and subtle tonal nuances are completely natural, ensuring your table is a unique original.
- Solid Weight & Setup: Built with substantial solid wood mass for zero wobble, this piece has considerable weight. We advise two people when lifting and positioning the table.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. We offer free shipping on all orders.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
