Everything you need to know
Detailed information about this piece — tap a section to expand.
In the realm of contemporary interior design, the most successful pieces are those that blur the line between utility and fine art. This sculptural wall shelf is not just a storage solution - it is a fluid masterpiece crafted from solid wood, designed to bring the rhythmic motion of nature to the static surfaces of your home.
The Soul of Authentic Solid Wood
The true allure of this piece lies in its solid wood construction. Unlike mass-produced synthetic alternatives, the character of real timber is felt through its rich grain patterns, unique natural textures, and the undeniable warmth it radiates. Every inch of the wood is hand-finished to highlight its organic origins, creating a visual and tactile depth that develops a beautiful patina over time. Owning a piece made of solid wood is an investment in timeless quality and a statement of refined taste.
Why Choose This Piece? Artistry Meets Function
What makes this shelf a superior choice over conventional, linear shelving is its "Fluid Design" philosophy:
- Sculptural Elegance: The wave-like contours are meticulously hand-carved to mimic the ebb and flow of water or the drift of clouds. It transforms a blank wall into a private gallery, adding a soft, organic touch to modern architectural lines.
- Real-World Utility: Despite its ethereal appearance, this shelf is engineered for daily life. The flat, spacious surface provides a stable platform for your most meaningful objects - whether it’s a collection of artisanal pottery, prized literature, or lush greenery.
- Invisible Support: Featuring a professional hidden mounting system, the shelf appears to float weightlessly. This "invisible" installation optimizes the minimalist aesthetic, making it an ideal fit for Japandi or Organic Modern interiors.
Ideal Placement & Styling
This sculptural piece thrives in environments that celebrate tranquility and craftsmanship:
- Living Room: Positioned as a central accent piece above a sofa or console to anchor the room's design.
- Study or Creative Studio: To foster an environment of inspiration and fluid thinking.
- Bedroom: As a serene bedside or vanity display that brings a calming, natural energy to your private retreat.
Honest Limitations
At Ashdeco, we value transparency. Because each shelf is born from natural solid wood, the grain patterns and specific silhouettes are unique to every single cut; your piece will truly be one-of-a-kind, which may result in minor variations from the catalog image. Additionally, due to the elegant floating design and hand-sculpted edges, we recommend using this shelf for decorative items and medium-weight objects. Avoid overloading with excessive weight to ensure the long-term integrity of the wall mount and the aesthetic balance of the wood.
Tailored to Your Sanctuary (Custom Sizes Available)
We understand that every wall has its own dimensions and every home its own story. This design is fully available for Custom Size requests, allowing us to tailor the length and scale to perfectly harmonize with your specific interior layout.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
