An Enchanting Forest Canopy for the Modern Collector
Invite the tranquil magic of ancient woodlands into your interior with our botanical canopy living tree freestanding bookcase in carved solid wood. Dissolving the boundaries between fine sculpture and functional library furniture, this floor-standing centerpiece rises from a deeply rooted timber base into sweeping trunk limbs, fluid looped shelving chambers, and delicate carved foliage branches reaching toward the ceiling. It transforms everyday reading corners into an enchanting, biophilic sanctuary.
The Living Soul of Authentic Solid Timber
Every organic curve, hollowed reading cavity, and spreading root is hand-carved from genuine solid timber, celebrating the palpable life of real wood. Unlike flat laminate boards or synthetic veneers, genuine timber displays deep, continuous grain paths that twist organically through each loop and limb. Hand-finished with a protective, breathable low-luster matte sealant, the surface shields against routine book handling and dust while keeping the warm, tactile texture of the wood completely touchable.
Why Choose This Living Tree Bookcase?
- Rooted Sculptural Architecture: Grounded by an expansive root flare that rests directly against the floor, ensuring remarkable physical stability and dramatic presence.
- Continuous Looped Display Niches: Flowing circular loops and cantilevered boughs create asymmetrical stages for hardcovers, art folios, poetry collections, and curated pottery.
- Hand-Sculpted Foliage Accents: Crown branches blossom into carved leaf details that cast expressive organic shadows across surrounding walls.
- Functional Art Installation: Acts as a magnetic focal point in biophilic, modern organic, rustic luxury, or whimsical architectural living spaces.
- Ideal Placement: Exquisite in sunlit living rooms, peaceful home libraries, double-height lofts, creative design ateliers, or luxury executive study lounges.
Tailored Dimensions & Custom Craftsmanship
- Substantial Timber Profile: Crafted with a sturdy, reassuring timber profile across the trunk trunk pillars, base roots, and shelving loops to ensure generational longevity and unwavering load support.
- Custom Sizing: Seeking a taller canopy height to embrace vaulted ceilings, wider book loops for oversized art albums, or adjusted proportions? We build to custom dimensions upon request. Adjustments to overall proportions are available for an additional fee. Please contact our customer support team to discuss your custom project.
Honest Limitations to Keep in Mind
- Inherent Timber Character: Because each bookcase is hand-carved from authentic solid timber, natural grain variations, organic knot markings, and subtle tonal shifts are completely natural, making every unit a unique original.
- Substantial Weight & Wall Safety: Engineered with solid wood mass for zero wobble, this tall bookcase carries significant weight. For safety in busy living environments or homes with children, installing the discreet upper wall anti-tip anchor is strongly recommended.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. We offer free shipping on all orders.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
