A Cathedral Window Made Entirely of Wood
A pointed arch of solid driftwood rises from the floor like a cathedral window. Four curved structural ribs form the outer frame, meeting at a sharp point at the top and flaring outward to a wide, stable base. Between those ribs, dozens of carved veins branch outward from a central midrib, each one cut clean through the wood wall. Warm amber light fills the entire interior and pours through every vein opening, projecting a feather-shaped constellation of golden light across the floor, the furniture, and the walls.
The Body Is the Shade
There is no lampshade. The entire structure functions as both sculpture and luminaire, with the carved vein openings controlling where light escapes and how much reaches each surface. The effect is closer to a stained glass window than a conventional floor lamp. From across the room, you see a glowing feather standing upright. Up close, dozens of individual light slots, each shaped and angled slightly differently, each casting its own narrow beam in a different direction.
Every Vein Negotiated with the Grain
The vein pattern is botanical but not perfectly symmetrical. The left side does not mirror the right exactly. Some veins are spaced wider, some narrower, following the natural grain of the specific driftwood blank. Where a knot or grain swirl interrupted the planned path, the artisan adjusted the angle to work with the wood rather than against it. That organic irregularity is what separates this from a laser-cut or CNC piece.
Two Tones, Dozens of Light Slots
The outer faces of the ribs and veins show darker walnut-brown tones with the compressed, weathered texture of aged wood. The inner faces and vein edges show lighter honey and caramel tones where the carving exposed protected heartwood. When the LED is on, every vein becomes a dark bridge silhouetted against golden light. When off, the piece reads as a dark wood sculpture with visible depth and shadow in every opening.
360° Light with Wireless Dimming
A vertical LED strip mounted along the central midrib radiates outward through the vein openings on both front and back faces. Placed against a wall, the back face illuminates the wall with the vein pattern in reverse. Placed in a room center, it projects the pattern onto multiple surfaces simultaneously.
The LED driver includes a wireless remote with full-range dimming and warm-to-neutral color temperature adjustment (2200K to 3000K). At the warmest setting, the glow matches candlelight. At the neutral end, enough light to read by within arm's reach.
The Base
The four ribs flare outward into wide feet, connected by a solid driftwood crossbar at floor level. Wide, heavy footprint for stability. Felt-padded on the bottom.
Care and Placement
- Dry indoor use only. Works on a covered terrace in dry coastal climates. For humid environments, keep indoors with climate control.
- The thin vein bridges are more sensitive to humidity changes than a solid-body lamp. Climate-controlled rooms are ideal.
- Dust the upper edges of each vein with a soft brush or compressed air. Wipe the outer ribs with a dry cloth.
Fully Customizable
Need a different height, vein density, wood tone, or a matched pair flanking a doorway? Every piece is handcrafted and fully customizable. Contact our support team with your requirements.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
