Tuan Tran is the workshop’s live edge specialist - the man responsible for shaping the edges on almost every floating shelf that leaves Ashdeco.

He’s the kind of craftsman who can apparently tell the difference between Burmese teak and Indonesian teak just from the smell while cutting it. Nobody in the shop is entirely sure how that’s even possible, and honestly, nobody wants to argue with him about it either.

Mostly because Tuan Tran is almost always right.

What everyone does understand is this: when a piece comes through his hands, the live edge never feels decorative or forced. It feels natural, like the tree itself decided where the final line should be.
