Everything you need to know
Detailed information about this piece — tap a section to expand.
Four oyster mushroom caps fan out from a central trunk, each one wide enough to hold a ceramic bowl, a bouquet of dried lavender, or a candle in a glass jar. The gill carving is not hidden underneath. It faces forward, fully visible, carved into the front face of every cap.
Exposed Front-Facing Gill Detail
This is the design feature that sets this shelf apart from every other mushroom shelf on the market. The gill lines are carved into the front-facing surface between each cap and the trunk, radiating outward in a tight fan pattern. When the shelf is mounted, the gills face the room instead of facing the floor. Every person who walks into the room sees the full radial pattern immediately, without bending down to look underneath. The carving is deep, evenly spaced, and catches side light from windows to create a sunburst shadow effect that shifts throughout the day.
4 Wide Caps with Organic Wavy Edges
Each cap has a broad, gently curved surface with a natural wavy rim that undulates like the edge of a real oyster mushroom. The top cap is the widest, with the most dramatic wave along its outer edge. The three lower caps alternate sides as they step down the trunk, each one slightly smaller than the one above. The wavy edges give every cap a unique silhouette and create subtle shadow lines along the rim.
What each cap holds comfortably:
• A ceramic bowl of potpourri or decorative stones
• A small bouquet of dried lavender, eucalyptus, or baby's breath
• A votive candle in a glass holder
• A 3-4 inch potted succulent or air plant
• A small framed photo or art print leaning against the wall
Central Trunk with Bark Texture
The trunk runs vertical between the caps with a slightly tapered profile, thicker at the base and narrowing toward the top. Carved bark ridges and natural grain lines cover the trunk surface, adding rustic texture that contrasts with the smooth, polished cap surfaces.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
