Fungal-Inspired Biomorphic Form Meets Floating Display Artistry
Elevate your living room sanctuary, serene entryway, or minimalist reading corner with this handcrafted sculptural mushroom solid wood floating shelf by Ashdeco. Characterized by its softly contoured semicircular platform and seamless, hand-carved mushroom-cap undercarriage that tapers organically into the wall, this floating perch blurs the line between functional storage and biophilic wall art. Perfect as a standalone pedestal for a statement ceramic vase or purchased in multiples to build your own custom organic wall arrangement, it transforms everyday decor into a curated gallery display.
Authentic Hand-Carved Solid Wood Craftsmanship
Crafted entirely from genuine solid wood blocks, sculpting the continuous fluid transition between the horizontal display deck and the rounded undercarriage cap demands master-level subtractive woodworking artistry. Running your hands across the silky timber curves reveals the rich grain depth, dark warm walnut undertones, and substantial tactile presence of authentic wood. Every single shelf possesses its own distinct natural identity - showcasing concentric grain flows following every swell of the bracket, soft bullnose edges, and authentic timber knot signatures that deepen in character over time. A clear protective matte finish shields the wood against daily handling, ambient humidity, and dust while preserving its smooth, natural touch.
Why Choose This Sculptural Mushroom Shelf?
- Signature Biomorphic Mushroom Silhouette: Smooth, rounded bracket cup provides hidden structural support while introducing organic botanical energy to interior walls.
- Sold Individually for Custom Styling: Purchase a single unit as a focused display accent, or combine multiple sizes and quantities to compose your own asymmetric wall cluster.
- Ergonomic Softened Edges: Rounded corners and bullnose perimeters eliminate harsh linear angles, making it safe and stylish for hallways and cozy living spaces.
- Versatile Modern Aesthetic: Pairs effortlessly with Japandi, organic modern, wabi-sabi, Scandinavian, and contemporary minimalist luxury interiors.

Honest Limitations & Maintenance
- Pricing & Quantity: Listing price is for ONE (1) individual floating shelf only. Lifestyle staging images displaying multiple shelves are for arrangement inspiration only; additional units must be added to cart individually.
- Natural Wood Variations: As an authentic hand-carved solid wood creation, natural variations in curved grain swirls, bracket thickness, shade depth, and subtle timber knot signatures are genuine marks of real wood craft.
- Wall Anchoring & Weight Capacity: Designed for decorative display of ceramics, small vases, and lightweight books; secure anchoring into wall studs or heavy-duty drywall anchors is required for stable installation.
- Single Shelf Unit Only: This listing includes one (1) solid wood floating shelf only (concealed mounting hardware included); additional shelves, ceramic vases, dried florals, books, bouclé armchair, and area rug are sold separately.
- Care Instructions: Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth along the rounded contours. Promptly wipe away moisture and avoid abrasive chemical cleaners to preserve the smooth protective wood finish.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
