Detailed information about this piece — tap a section to expand.
A mushroom tree grows from the corner of your room. A wide oval tray sits at the base, large enough for a stack of books and a coffee mug. Three mushroom caps climb the trunk above it, each one angled outward with hand-carved gill lines underneath, turning a dead corner into the most interesting spot in the room.
Wall-Mounted Design
This shelf is built to sit flush against two walls at a 90-degree corner junction. The large oval base tray is shaped as a quarter-circle wedge that tucks into the corner, using space that standard flat-wall shelves cannot reach. The trunk rises from the back edge of the tray where the two walls meet, and the mushroom caps extend outward into the room. The entire piece transforms an unused corner into a vertical display that holds real weight on the base and decorative accents on the caps above.
Large Oval Base Tray
The base platform is the widest surface in the entire mushroom shelf collection. It is shaped as a smooth, polished oval tray with a raised rim running along the full front edge and carved gill detail along the outer lip. The tray surface is flat and stable enough for a stack of three hardcover books, a ceramic mug, a small potted plant, and a pair of reading glasses all at once. The raised rim keeps objects from sliding forward off the front edge.
3 Mushroom Cap Shelves Above the Trunk
Three mushroom caps branch from the trunk above the base tray:
• Lower-left cap: A wide dished platform extending to the left with full gill carving underneath. Holds a jar candle, a potted fern, or a ceramic bowl.
• Middle-right cap: A broad flat shelf extending to the right. The candle-jar sized surface holds a votive, a small vase with a single dried rose, or a decorative glass jar.
• Top cap: A smooth round platform crowning the trunk, slightly domed. The top of the stem extends above it as a small rounded peg, sized to hold a dried flower stem or a single branch upright.
Carved Details Throughout
Every mushroom cap carries hand-carved gill lines on the underside, radiating from the stem outward. The trunk surface is sanded smooth with visible grain flowing from the base tray through every branch junction. Where each cap meets the trunk, the carved junction transitions organically from vertical stem to horizontal shelf with no visible seam.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
