Everything you need to know
Detailed information about this piece — tap a section to expand.
A solid wood trunk that stands in the corner of your room, floor to near ceiling, with six mushroom-cap shelves spiraling up the sides. Each shelf alternates left and right as it climbs, so the whole piece moves your eye upward like a tree growing toward light. It turns a dead corner into the most interesting spot in the room.
Our Vietnamese artisans carve every piece by hand from solid wood. The trunk, the branches, and each mushroom cap all come from the same material. The natural grain wraps around the trunk and follows each branch outward to the shelf surface. No two pieces come out the same.

Six spiral mushroom-cap shelves
The shelves start near the base and alternate sides as they climb to the top. Each cap is hand-shaped with a curved surface on top and a ribbed underside, like a real bracket fungus growing from a tree. The bottom shelves work for heavier items like potted plants or stacked books. The upper shelves are good for candles, figurines, small vases, or dried flowers. Shelf count is adjustable (4 to 8) depending on how much display space you need versus how much open trunk you want to see.
Natural branch supports
Each shelf connects to the trunk through a curved branch, not a straight bracket. The branches are carved to look like they grew out of the wood, because they did. They follow the grain of the trunk outward and spread into the mushroom cap shape at the end. This is what separates it from a shelf that was assembled from separate parts.
Corner-mounted design
The trunk sits into the corner where two walls meet. This means it takes up almost no usable floor space while filling vertical space that usually goes empty. The shelves extend along both walls, giving you display area in two directions. Mounting hardware and step-by-step instructions are included. The trunk attaches to both wall surfaces for stability.
Fully customizable
Shelf count (4 to 8), total height, trunk thickness, wood species, and finish tone are all adjustable. If your ceiling is 8 feet or 10 feet, we size the column to fit. Tell us your corner dimensions and we will design the right piece for it.
What makes this different
Corner shelves are common. Mushroom shelves are trending. A full-height solid wood mushroom tree that fills a corner from floor to ceiling, with hand-carved spiral caps and natural branch supports, is something nobody else makes. Mass-produced corner shelves are particle board with laminate. This is real wood, real carving, real weight.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
