Everything you need to know
Detailed information about this piece — tap a section to expand.
Nature grows in spirals - and so does this shelf. The mushroom stem wall shelf is carved from a single solid-wood trunk that curves gently as it rises, sending out mushroom-cap shelves at alternating heights and angles - left, right, left, right - like a forest stem reaching toward the light. No hollow, no cavity, no tricks. Just wood, form, and an organic presence that transforms any bare wall into something alive.
Made entirely by hand by our Vietnamese artisans, every mushroom cap is shaped individually - its surface gently curved for display, its underside hand-carved with fine radiating ribs that catch the light. The stem curves naturally between each cap, giving the whole piece a sense of motion even when perfectly still.

👉 Solid Wood Curved Stem
The trunk body is carved from a single solid-wood section with a natural, slight S-curve - not forced into a straight column, but allowed to follow the grain. The base tapers into a rounded foot that grounds the piece on the wall. The overall silhouette reads like something grown, not built.
👉 Stacked Mushroom-Cap Shelves
Between 3 and 5 mushroom caps grow from the stem depending on size - each one extending outward at a different angle, alternating sides as they rise. The caps vary slightly in width and tilt, giving each level its own character. The ribbed underside of every cap is carved by hand, creating texture and shadow detail that elevate the piece from shelf to sculpture.
👉 Generous Display Surface
Each mushroom cap offers a flat, smooth display area - wide enough for a trailing pothos, a candle and crystal, a small stack of books, or a curated collection of ceramic objects. The organic tilt of each cap means trailing plants can cascade naturally down the sides - exactly as shown in the product photos.
👉 Warm Natural Wood Grain
The honey-amber tones of the solid wood glow in natural light, deepening toward the base where the grain concentrates. The oil finish is hand-applied to protect the wood and enhance its natural warmth - no plastic lacquer, no artificial shine.
👉 Simple Assembly Required
The piece arrives fully formed - no complex construction, no power tools needed. Simply secure the included concealed steel wall bracket to your wall, hang the trunk, and your shelf is complete. All hardware and step-by-step installation instructions are included. If you need assistance, our customer support team is always ready to help.
👉 Fully Customizable
Number of mushroom caps (3-5), stem height, curve direction, wood species, and finish tone are all adjustable. Contact us with your wall and we will grow the right stem for it.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
