Everything you need to know
Detailed information about this piece — tap a section to expand.
A thick trunk mounts to your wall with four bracket-fungus shelves growing from its sides. Between the shelves, a cluster of miniature carved mushrooms sprouts from the bark, turning the piece from a functional shelf into a forest scene carved from a single block of wood.
Carved Miniature Mushroom Cluster
This is the feature that makes this shelf unlike anything else in the collection. Between the middle and lower shelves, a group of small mushrooms grows directly from the trunk surface. Each miniature has its own carved stem and rounded cap, and the cluster is arranged the way real fungi colonize a standing tree, with some mushrooms taller than others, some tilting outward, some growing in tight pairs. The cluster is not a separate piece glued on. It is carved from the same block of wood as the trunk and shelves, with grain running continuously through every tiny stem.
4 Bracket Cap Shelves with Prominent Gill Carving
Each shelf extends from the trunk like a bracket fungus growing from a forest tree. The caps are wide, flat on top, and carry deeply carved gill lines on the front face where the cap meets the trunk. The gills fan outward in a tight radial pattern, prominently visible at eye level.
Shelf positions and what they hold:
• Top-left cap: Compact shelf holding smooth river stones, an acorn, or a small carved object
• Middle-right cap (widest): The largest platform, wide enough for a ceramic mug and a small glass bud vase with dried lavender
• Lower-left cap: A broad shelf extending from below the miniature cluster, holds a votive candle or a potted succulent
• Bottom-right cap: A smooth platform for a small figurine, a ring dish, or a tea light
Thick Trunk with Knot Holes and Branch Scars
The trunk is carved thick and cylindrical with natural features preserved throughout: visible knot holes where branches once grew, grain fissures running vertically, and smooth rounded bumps where the bark texture transitions to the polished shelf connections. The top of the trunk is cut clean and sanded flat, showing the end-grain ring pattern.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
