Everything you need to know
Detailed information about this piece — tap a section to expand.
A thick trunk splits into a Y-fork halfway up the wall, each branch carrying its own mushroom caps at different heights. Four platforms in total, no two at the same level, spreading across the wall like a real tree that found its shape over decades of growth.
Our artisans carve this piece from solid wood, sculpting the main trunk and its branching fork as one continuous form. The grain runs through the split without interruption, following the diverging branches the way it would in a living tree. The trunk surface is sanded smooth with a warm honey-amber finish that deepens where the wood compresses at the fork junction.
4 asymmetric mushroom cap shelves at different levels. The top cap sits highest on the right branch, wide and slightly tilted, holding a vase or a tall plant. The left branch carries a broad cap at mid-height with enough surface for a decorative bead garland or a row of small objects. A smaller cap sits where the branches meet at the fork, just the right size for a candlestick or a ring dish. The lowest cap extends from the right trunk near the base, wide enough for a potted jade plant or a ceramic bowl. Every cap surface is smooth, gently curved, and wide enough for real use.
Carved gill detail under every cap. Each mushroom platform fans out from its branch with hand-carved gill lines on the underside, radiating from the trunk connection to the outer edge. The gills follow the curved shape of each cap, fanning wider toward the rim. Natural light from a nearby window catches the gill pattern and casts fine parallel shadows that shift throughout the day.
Y-split branching trunk. The main trunk rises from the base thick and rounded, then forks into two distinct branches that angle apart. The fork junction is carved smooth with a muscular, organic joint that shows how the grain compresses and redirects as the wood divides. Each branch tapers naturally as it extends upward and outward, carrying its caps at the angles where real bracket fungi would grow.
What goes into every piece:
• Solid wood throughout, carved from a single block
• 4 asymmetric mushroom cap shelves at staggered heights
• Hand-carved gill lines under every cap
• Y-split forked trunk with smooth junction carving
• Warm honey-amber finish with natural grain variation
• Concealed wall-mount bracket system, all hardware included
Where it belongs. In a living room beside a sofa. Next to an entryway mirror. In a bedroom corner where the branching shape fills a tall wall space. Above a reading chair. The Y-fork silhouette creates a natural canopy effect that draws the eye upward and outward, filling more wall area than a straight-trunk design of the same height.
Handcrafted by Vietnamese artisans. Every branch, every fork junction, every gill line is shaped by hand. No molds. No machines. No two pieces alike.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
