Everything you need to know
Detailed information about this piece — tap a section to expand.
Three mushroom stems rise from a shared root base at different heights, each one topped with a wide cap shelf. The tallest stem stands at the back, the medium in the middle, and the shortest in front. The staggered heights create a tiered display where every cap is visible and accessible from the front.
Our Vietnamese artisans carve every piece by hand from a single solid wood block. All three stems, all three caps, and the root base come from the same piece of hardwood. The grain runs from the base up through each stem and into the cap surfaces.

Three mushroom cap shelves at staggered heights
Each cap is a wide, gently curved platform with a live edge wavy rim. The top surface is sanded smooth with visible wood grain rings. The tallest cap is the widest, good for a potted plant, a stack of books, or a decorative tray. The middle cap holds a candle, a small vase, or a ceramic piece. The shortest cap works for a figurine, a crystal, or a tealight. Each cap sits at its own height, so objects on one shelf do not block the view of the shelf above or below.
Gill carving on the underside of every cap
Hand-carved gill lines radiate from each stem outward to the cap rim. The gill pattern is visible from eye level and below, fanning out in tight, even spacing. The carving adds shadow detail that changes with the light throughout the day.
Stem rings
Each stem has a carved ring detail just below the cap, wrapping around the stem where it meets the underside of the shelf. The rings resemble the annulus found on real mushroom stems, adding a botanical detail that reinforces the natural form.
Shared root base
The three stems grow from a single carved root base that sits flat on the floor. The base features carved root lines radiating outward from the stems, anchoring the visual weight of the piece. The root spread provides stability on any flat surface.
Freestanding placement
No wall mounting needed. Place it on the floor next to a sofa, beside a bed, in a reading nook, at the end of a hallway, or in an entryway. The piece stands on its own and works from every angle.
Fully customizable
This product can be fully custom-sized to your specifications. Cap count (2 to 5), stem heights, cap widths, wood species, finish tone, and overall dimensions are all adjustable. If you have a specific space or vision in mind, contact our customer support team discuss your custom order.
What makes this different
Most mushroom shelves mount on a wall. This one stands on the floor as a sculptural display piece. Three separate stems growing from one root base, each with its own gill-carved cap and stem ring, carved from a single block of solid wood. The cluster format fills vertical space without taking up wall real estate. Nobody else offers a triple mushroom cluster carved from one piece of hardwood with gill detail and stem rings.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
