Arboreal Sculptural Form Meets Expansive Gallery Display
Elevate your living room sanctuary, reading salon, or open-plan lounge with this handcrafted sculptural tree solid wood bookshelf by Ashdeco. Artfully hand-carved to depict a stately natural tree anchored by a grounded, fluted root base, its sinuous trunk branches upward to support undulating, live-edge horizontal display shelves and an elevated floor-level timber plinth. Designed to transform literature collections, ceramic vessels, and curated botanical accents into an architectural focal point, it infuses bright, contemporary spaces with calming biophilic presence and organic modern artistry.
Authentic Hand-Carved Solid Wood Craftsmanship
Crafted entirely from genuine solid wood slabs, shaping the deeply contoured root flare, sweeping vertical limb bifurcations, and undulating shelf edges requires master-level subtractive woodworking artistry. Running your hands along the silky timber contours reveals the rich grain depth, light natural honey-oak undertones, and substantial tactile presence of authentic wood. Every single bookshelf possesses its own distinct natural identity - showcasing continuous grain flows following every twist of the branches, soft bullnose shelf edges, and authentic timber knot signatures that deepen in character over time. A clear protective matte seal shields the timber against daily handling, books, ambient humidity, and dust while preserving its smooth, natural touch.
Why Choose This Sculptural Tree Wall Unit?
- Signature Sprawling Arbor Architecture: Hand-carved organic trunk and upright boughs create a commanding botanical focal point that softens flat interior walls.
- Multi-Tier Live-Edge Display Platforms: Continuous horizontal solid wood ledges offer expansive, tiered surfaces for oversized art books, stoneware ceramics, and framed prints.
- Integrated Floor Plinth Base: Features a dedicated ground-level wooden runner shelf alongside the rooted base for additional low-profile storage baskets and paper stacks.
- Versatile Modern Aesthetic: Pairs effortlessly with Japandi, organic modern, wabi-sabi, Scandinavian, and contemporary minimalist luxury interiors.

Honest Limitations & Maintenance
- Natural Wood Variations: As an authentic hand-carved solid wood creation, natural variations in branch curvature, grain swirls, shade depth, and subtle timber knot signatures are genuine marks of real wood craft.
- Professional Wall Anchoring Required: Due to the dense solid timber construction and expansive branch span, heavy-duty anti-tip structural mounting into wall studs is strictly required for safety and stability.
- Bookshelf Unit Only: This listing includes the solid wood tree bookshelf and integrated shelf planks only (hardware anchors included; decorative greenery, plants, and cushions are not included); armchair, side table, lamp, ceramic vessels, books, woven basket, and rug are sold separately.
- Care Instructions: Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or soft-bristle brush along the curved contours and branch crevices. Promptly wipe away moisture to preserve the smooth protective wood finish.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
