Hien Vu studied interior design before realizing she didn’t just want to draw furniture on a screen - she wanted to build it with her own hands.
She joined Ashdeco at 22 and quickly became the workshop’s best surface finishing specialist. When it comes to natural wood tones, she’s got the kind of eye you can’t really teach. Too much oil, she notices. Too little warmth, she notices that too. Most of the final finish coats on Ashdeco’s live edge pieces pass through her hands before they ever leave the shop.
Around the workshop, the other craftsmen call her “the eyes of the shop.”
Nobody argues with that title.
