Everything you need to know
Detailed information about this piece — tap a section to expand.
Four wide mushroom platforms alternate between light and dark wood as they step down a natural trunk, each one large enough to hold a potted plant, a candle and a book, or a ceramic vase with dried eucalyptus. The two-tone color pattern gives the piece a rhythm that single-wood shelves cannot match.
Two-Tone Solid Wood Caps
Each platform is carved from a different tone of solid wood, alternating between warm golden heartwood and rich dark-stained grain. The top platform glows golden with light, tight grain. The second platform below it runs dark with visible end-grain swirl patterns across its full surface. The third goes light again with a warm honey tone. The fourth returns to a pale natural blonde. This alternating palette breaks up the visual weight of the piece and highlights the unique grain character of each individual cap.
4 Wide Round Platforms Built for Daily Use
These are not small decorative ledges. Every platform is a full-sized round surface, wide and thick enough to serve as a functional shelf for everyday objects.
What each numbered platform holds (matching the image):
• Platform 1 (top, light wood): A ceramic bud vase with dried bunny tails and eucalyptus stems. Wide enough for two small vases side by side.
• Platform 2 (dark wood): A brass candlestick holder with a taper candle, a small wooden box, and room to spare. The darkest cap in the set.
• Platform 3 (light wood): A 4-inch pilea plant in a terracotta pot sitting comfortably centered. Deep enough that the pot sits stable without risking the edge.
• Platform 4 (bottom, blonde wood): A carved wooden fox figurine with room for a second object beside it. The lightest cap in the set, mounted on a short stump base.
Visible Gill Carving Under Every Cap
The underside of each platform features dense hand-carved gill lines radiating from the trunk connection to the outer rim. The gills are carved deep and tight, visible from below and from the side. On the dark wood caps, the gill shadows create especially strong contrast. On the light wood caps, the gills catch side light and glow with warm depth.
Natural Trunk with Smooth Bark
The central trunk runs vertical with a smooth, sanded surface that shows the natural golden grain of the heartwood. The trunk is thick and cylindrical, tapering slightly from base to top. Where each platform meets the trunk, the junction is carved as a smooth organic bracket that flows seamlessly from vertical stem to horizontal shelf.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
