Everything you need to know
Detailed information about this piece — tap a section to expand.
A weathered tree trunk grows from your wall with five half-moon platforms stepping out at different heights, the largest one at the base wide enough for a photo frame and a set of keys, the smallest near the top just right for a potted succulent in a ceramic bowl.
Sculptural Weathered Trunk
The central trunk is carved to look like a tree that has stood for decades. Deep grain channels, carved knot holes, and smooth flowing contours wrap the surface from base to crown. The trunk is thick and organic, widening at the base and tapering toward the top where it finishes with a rough-cut flat top showing the end-grain cross-section. The carving preserves the natural tension lines and growth patterns of the wood, giving every angle of the trunk a different texture and shadow profile.
5 Half-Moon Platforms, Bottom-Heavy Layout
The platforms are arranged in a bottom-heavy composition. The two largest shelves sit near the base, extending left and right with wide, generous surfaces built for daily use. The middle shelf extends from the right at mid-height. Two smaller platforms near the top hold lighter accent pieces. This bottom-heavy layout puts your most-used items at the easiest reach and your decorative pieces higher where they catch the eye.
What each level holds:
• Bottom platform (largest): A framed photo, a pair of scissors and keys, a small tray of daily essentials
• Lower-left platform: A glass jar of dried lavender, a bundle of wildflowers in a small vase
• Middle-right platform: A beeswax candle in a glass jar, a votive holder, or a tea light
• Upper-left platform: A small ceramic pot with a succulent or a carved wooden bird
• Top platform (smallest): A potted succulent in a mini bowl, a ring dish, or a small crystal
Gill Rim Carving on Every Platform
Each half-moon platform features a carved gill rim along the front curved edge. The gill lines are carved into the front face of the shelf edge in a tight radial pattern, visible at eye level when the shelf is mounted. The gills create a decorative border between the smooth polished top surface and the raw carved trunk behind it.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
