Key Features & Craftsmanship
- 100% Solid Wood Construction: This bookshelf is meticulously handcrafted from premium solid wood, delivering the genuine warmth, strength, and natural beauty that only real wood can provide. The rich, dynamic grain patterns swirl and flow throughout the entire twisted structure and live-edge shelves, creating depth, movement, and a luxurious tactile experience. Solid wood feels substantial and grounding, developing a deeper, more elegant patina over time.
- Artisanal Sculptural Design: Every twist, curve, and organic contour is carefully shaped by hand. The signature spiraling trunk supports multiple undulating shelves of varying sizes and shapes, topped with a dramatic, overhanging canopy. This high level of craftsmanship results in a truly one-of-a-kind piece - no two bookshelves are exactly alike.

Why This Solid Wood Sculptural Bookshelf Is Different
This bookshelf stands out because it masterfully combines artistic sculpture with genuine everyday practicality. While most bookshelves are plain rectangles, this hand-sculpted organic design celebrates the natural beauty of solid wood through fluid twists and soft, flowing lines. The solid wood construction ensures exceptional durability and a warm, grounding presence that instantly elevates any interior. It is far more than storage - it is a functional work of art that brings movement, character, and a deep connection to nature into your space.
Ideal Placement
Perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, reading nooks, home offices, hallways, or entryways. Its organic, sculptural form complements modern organic, Japandi, Wabi-Sabi, minimalist, bohemian, and contemporary interiors beautifully, especially in bright spaces with natural light.
Honest Limitations
Because this bookshelf is entirely handmade from natural solid wood, slight variations in grain pattern, color tone, and exact twist and curve details are normal and expected. These natural characteristics are what make your piece uniquely yours. The shelf performs best in indoor environments with stable humidity and proper care.
Fully Customizable
This sculptural twisted bookshelf can be tailored to your exact needs. You can customize the overall height, width, number of shelves, twist intensity, canopy size, and finish to perfectly suit your space and styling vision. Custom thickness and design adjustments are also available with reasonable additional fees.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
