Detailed information about this piece — tap a section to expand.
A full-height log stands on your floor. Bracket mushroom shelves spiral around the trunk from bottom to top in a tight corkscrew pattern, wrapping the entire column in layers of hand-carved caps. The bottom shelves are the widest. Each row gets slightly narrower as it climbs. From across the room it looks like a fallen log covered in oyster mushrooms, stood upright and turned into furniture.
The trunk is a solid wood log with the original bark texture left on the surface. Vertical grain lines, knot holes, and weathered cracks run from base to top. The bracket caps are sanded smooth in a lighter golden tone, creating a two-tone contrast against the rougher bark. Every cap grows directly from the bark surface without a visible stem, the way real bracket fungi attach flat against a tree.

10 to 16 spiral bracket caps
The caps wrap around the full circumference of the log, not just the front face. Walk around the tower and you find shelves on every side. Each bracket is a wide fan shape with a smooth curved top and deeply carved gill lines on the front-facing underside. The gills radiate from the trunk attachment point outward to the wavy rim, cut tight and even. The spiral layout means every shelf sits at a slightly different angle and height, so each one catches light differently and displays objects from its own direction.
The lowest brackets are the widest. Place books, a potted trailing plant, or a ceramic bowl on the bottom rows. The middle rows hold candles, small vases, figurines, or jars. The upper rows carry lighter items like air plants, crystals, tealights, or dried stems. The graduated sizing keeps the tower stable with heavier weight at the base.
Natural bark log trunk
The trunk is not sanded smooth. It keeps its bark exterior with all the natural texture. The bark gives the tower a raw, forest quality that polished furniture does not have. The log stands directly on the floor with a flat-cut base. No pedestal, no legs. Just the log itself planted on the ground.
Freestanding placement, no wall mounting
The tower stands on its own. Place it in a corner, beside a sofa, next to a reading chair, at the end of a hallway, or as a room divider in an open floor plan. The round profile works from every viewing angle.
Custom sizing available
This product can be fully custom-sized to fit your space. Cap count, tower height, log diameter, wood species, and finish are all adjustable. Need it taller for a high ceiling? Wider caps for more shelf space? Fewer brackets for a cleaner look? Contact our customer support team with your dimensions and we will design the right tower for you.
What sets this apart
Vertical shelving towers exist. Mushroom shelves exist. A full-height freestanding bark log with 10 or more hand-carved bracket fungi spiraling around its entire circumference, carved from solid wood, does not exist anywhere else. The spiral coverage turns a display shelf into a sculptural column that fills a room the way a real tree fills a forest.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
