Everything you need to know
Detailed information about this piece — tap a section to expand.
Four mushroom caps step down a smooth trunk, alternating left and right, each one shaped and sized to hold a trailing plant, a candle, a small bottle, or a ceramic piece.
Our artisans carve this shelf from solid wood, shaping the central trunk with a gentle taper and smooth surface that lets the natural grain run unbroken from top to bottom. Each mushroom cap extends outward from the trunk at a slightly different angle, with hand-carved gill lines radiating underneath from the connection point to the outer rim.
4 alternating mushroom cap shelves. The top cap extends to the left with the widest surface area. The second steps right. The third back to the left. The fourth and lowest cap sits on the right, completing the zigzag. This alternating layout spaces each shelf far enough apart for trailing plants to cascade freely without tangling with the shelf below.
Built for plants. The cap surfaces are gently dished with a subtle lip at the edge, enough to keep a small pot steady without a visible rim. String of pearls, pothos, trailing succulents, and ivy drape naturally over the carved gill detail underneath, blending the living green with the warm wood tone. Each cap holds enough weight for a 3-4 inch ceramic pot with soil and plant.
Hand-carved gill detail on every cap. The underside of each shelf carries fine radiating lines carved from the trunk outward. When trailing vines hang over the edge, the gill texture shows between the leaves, adding a layered, organic look that flat-bottomed shelves cannot replicate.
Smooth, tapered trunk. The central stem is carved clean with a natural taper, thicker at the base and narrowing toward the top. The warm honey-amber tone of the wood shifts slightly where the grain curves, giving each piece its own color depth and pattern.
What goes into every piece:
• Solid wood throughout, hand-selected for grain warmth and figure
• 4 mushroom cap shelves alternating left-right down the trunk
• Gently dished cap surfaces with subtle edge lip for pot stability
• Hand-carved gill lines under every cap
• Smooth tapered trunk with natural wood grain visible
• Concealed wall-mount bracket system, all hardware included
Where it belongs. Next to a window where trailing plants catch the light. In a bathroom beside the mirror. Along a kitchen wall for herb pots. In a bedroom corner as a vertical garden. The narrow vertical profile fills tall wall spaces without taking width, and trailing plants soften the silhouette naturally over time.
Handcrafted by Vietnamese artisans. Every gill line, every smooth taper, every cap edge is shaped by hand. No molds. No machines. No two pieces alike.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
