Everything you need to know
Detailed information about this piece — tap a section to expand.
Four round platforms spiral down a carved trunk like a wooden staircase winding through a forest canopy. The largest platform crowns the top. Each step below rotates slightly and shrinks in size, creating a helical descent that draws the eye from the top shelf all the way to the smallest platform at the base.
Graduated Spiral Layout
The platforms do not alternate left-right like a zigzag. They rotate around the trunk in a true spiral, each one offset roughly 90 degrees from the one above. The top platform faces forward and extends outward as a wide half-circle. The second rotates to the right. The third swings to the left. The fourth and smallest tucks close to the trunk near the base. This rotational layout gives the piece a three-dimensional presence that changes depending on the angle you view it from.
Front-Facing Gill Carving on Every Platform
The gill detail on this piece is carved into the visible front face where each platform meets the trunk. Tight, evenly spaced radial lines fan outward from the stem connection to the outer rim of each cap. The gills face the room, not the floor, so the full carved pattern is visible at eye level without looking up from underneath. Side light from a window turns the gill pattern into a sunburst of fine shadow lines that shift as the day progresses.
4 Round Platforms, Largest to Smallest
• Top platform (largest): Wide half-circle surface, holds two ceramic pots side by side, a vase and a trailing plant, or a small stack of books
• Second platform: Fits a taper candle in a brass holder, a tea light, or a small glass jar
• Third platform: Holds a smooth stone, a ring dish, a crystal, or a tiny succulent
• Bottom platform (smallest): Sized for a single figurine, an incense holder, or a small carved object
Smooth Carved Trunk
The central trunk connects all four platforms with flowing organic curves. The grain runs vertically through the full height, unbroken across every junction. Each platform grows from the trunk through a sculptural bracket that transitions smoothly from vertical stem to horizontal shelf. The trunk surface is sanded and oiled to a warm satin finish.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
