Living Forest Architecture Meets Comprehensive Library Organization
Transform your living room sanctuary, reading salon, or grand open foyer with this monumental handcrafted sculptural tree solid wood bookshelf by Ashdeco. Characterized by its sinuous, fluted timber trunk rising organically from a grounded buttress root into a sprawling canopy of leafy branch ledges, this architectural statement piece harmoniously merges botanical fantasy with everyday utility. Anchored at the footing by an integrated curved two-drawer storage chest, it provides a quiet balance of concealed organization for smaller treasures and wide, multi-tier platforms for extensive literature collections, stoneware bowls, and curated artifacts.
Authentic Hand-Carved Solid Wood Craftsmanship
Crafted entirely from genuine solid wood slabs, carving the sweeping trunk ridges, delicate branch forks, and seamless rounded joinery of the drawer plinth demands master-level subtractive woodworking artistry. Running your hands across the silky timber contours reveals the rich grain depth, warm honey-oak undertones, and substantial tactile presence of authentic wood. Every single unit possesses its own distinct natural identity - showcasing continuous grain flows following every twist of the tree limbs, softened bullnose shelf edges, and authentic timber knot signatures that deepen in character over time. A clear protective matte seal shields the timber against daily handling, book slide friction, ambient humidity, and dust while preserving its smooth, natural touch.
Why Choose This Tree Bookshelf with Drawers?
- Integrated 2-Drawer Low Cabinet: Smooth-gliding rounded drawer chest keeps journals, cables, and reading glasses neatly tucked out of sight while offering an additional low display top.
- Fluted Buttress Root Footing: Sculptural tree roots anchor to the floor, creating a grounded silhouette that evokes an ancient woodland canopy.
- Multi-Tier Organic Branch Shelves: Six staggered cantilevered platforms provide varied vertical clearances to showcase tall hardcovers, paperbacks, and collectible pottery.
- Decorative Leafy Canopy Crown: Delicate hand-fitted botanical sprigs extend along the upper boughs, introducing vibrant nature-inspired warmth to modern interior walls.
- Versatile Modern Aesthetic: Pairs effortlessly with Japandi, organic modern, wabi-sabi, Scandinavian, and contemporary minimalist luxury interiors.
Customization & Sizing Options

Honest Limitations & Maintenance
- Natural Wood Variations: As an authentic hand-carved solid wood creation, natural variations in bark fluting, branch curvature, grain swirls, and subtle timber knot signatures are genuine marks of real wood craft.
- Wall Anchoring Recommended: Due to the substantial vertical height and asymmetrical cantilevered shelves, securing the upper trunk spine with the included concealed anti-tip wall brackets is strictly required for stability.
- Bookshelf Unit Only: This listing includes the solid wood tree bookshelf structure with integrated two-drawer base and mounting hardware only; books, wooden bowls, reading armchair, curtains, and potted fiddle-leaf fig are sold separately.
- Care Instructions: Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or soft-bristle brush along the bark grooves and shelf corners. Promptly wipe away moisture and avoid abrasive chemical cleaners to preserve the smooth protective wood finish.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
