Living Sculpture Meets Functional Storage
Blur the boundary between fine art and interior organization with this extraordinary hand-carved solid wood bookshelf. Defined by its continuous organic form and fluid, branch-like hollows, this piece brings a poetic sense of movement to any room. Unlike conventional boxy bookcases, its flowing silhouette mimics natural geological formations and tree roots, making it a captivating gallery-worthy centerpiece for your living room, study, or luxury suite.
Authentic Hand-Carved Solid Wood Craftsmanship
Crafted entirely from genuine solid wood, every inch of this bookcase demands master artisan sculpting to achieve its seamless, rounded contours. Touching the smooth, curved surfaces reveals the rich, tactile depth of true timber. You will appreciate authentic natural character throughout - sweeping continuous grain patterns, warm tonal shifts, micro-textures, and individual timber knots that celebrate the organic origin of the wood. A protective clear finish seals the timber, highlighting its natural warmth while ensuring everyday durability.
Why Choose This Sculptural Bookshelf?
- Multi-Tier Asymmetric Display: Designed with varied open cutouts and curved platforms, creating uniquely shaped nooks for books, art ceramics, crystals, and potted greenery.
- Dramatic Visual Presence: Functions as an expressive architectural statement wall piece or a striking room divider in modern open-concept layouts.
- Heavy-Duty Solid Foundation: Despite its organic and airy cutouts, the substantial solid wood structure provides incredible load-bearing strength and stability for heavy coffee table books and decor objects.

Honest Limitations & Maintenance
- Natural Wood Variations: As an authentic hand-carved solid wood product, natural variations in grain structure, color tone, and subtle surface micro-contours are inherent signatures of real craft, ensuring your piece is truly unique.
- Weight & Handling: Due to the substantial mass of genuine solid wood, this unit is solid and heavy. We recommend two-person handling and placement on level flooring.
- Care Instructions: Dust regularly with a soft, dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth. Keep away from direct heat sources to maintain the protective finish.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
