Minh Van
Master Craftsman
Minh Van started learning the trade at 20, when his father dragged him into the workshop, handed him a chisel, and gave him exactly one piece of advice: “Just hit the wood. If you mess up, the wood’ll let you know.”

Bring the rugged tranquility of nature into your home with our Artisanal Solid Wood Mountain Wall Clock. Masterfully carved from genuine solid wood, this statement timepiece unites high-relief landscape sculpture with reliable daily timekeeping. Highlighting a panoramic 3D mountain range hand-sculpted across the lower hemisphere, it turns shifting natural light and shadow into a dynamic mountain sunrise on your wall.
- Authentic Solid Wood Craftsmanship: Carved from 100% genuine solid timber - never molded resin, lightweight resin composites, or printed veneer stickers. The honest character of real timber is celebrated throughout: continuous grain lines following the contours of the peaks, warm natural tone gradations, and tactile ridgelines that synthetic materials cannot match.
- Sculptural Landscape Art Meets Everyday Function: While serving as an architectural focal art piece, it functions as a highly legible, dependable timepiece. The circular face features minimalist linear indices paired with bold cardinal numerals (12, 3, 6, 9) and matte black hands. Driven by a silent quartz sweep mechanism, it keeps accurate time without any disruptive ticking noises.
- Standard Specifications & Thickness: Hand-carved with a substantial standard solid wood thickness of around 2 inches (approx. 5.1 cm) to allow for deep, dramatic ridge carving while preventing seasonal warping. If your space calls for a deeper, bolder statement relief or a sleeker profile, thickness can be customized thicker or thinner for an additional fee.

Ideal Placement:
- Living Room Statement Wall: Hung directly above a sofa, credenza, or stone fireplace mantel to anchor the lounge.
- Modern Dining Room or Foyer: Welcomes family and guests with grounding warmth and effortless time checks.
- Executive Office or Mountain Cabin Retreat: Blends seamlessly with rustic beams, natural linen, and acoustic wood slat wall panels.
- Fully Customizable Dimensions: Because room scales and wall areas differ, we offer complete bespoke sizing for clock diameter, thickness, numeral style, and finish tones. To configure custom measurements for your interior, please contact our customer support team for personalized guidance and an accurate quote.
- Honest Limitations & Maintenance: Genuine solid wood is an organic material; natural variations in grain texture, subtle mineral marks, and minor seasonal movement responding to ambient indoor humidity are hallmarks of authentic wood, not flaws. Due to the solid timber construction, this clock carries substantial weight and should be hung using heavy-duty wall anchors or mounted directly into a wall stud. Dust gently with a soft, lint-free cloth and keep away from intense direct heating sources.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
