Chris Wu
Master Craftsman
Chris Wu handles most of the custom-size orders at Ashdeco - the strange ones, the complicated ones, the “are we even sure this can work?” kind of projects. Crooked walls, awkward corners, unusual dimensions, sketches drawn on napkins… somehow, those jobs usually end up on his workbench.

Nostalgic Vintage Soul Meets Modern Sculptural Art
Pay homage to the golden era of sound with this extraordinary hand-carved solid wood gramophone record cabinet. Designed with fluid organic curves, stacked open cubbies, and an iconic hand-carved wooden gramophone horn flaring dramatically from the top corner, this cabinet bridges vintage music heritage with contemporary sculptural art. It serves as an unforgettable, museum-worthy focal point for any audiophile's listening room or modern lounge.
Authentic Hand-Carved Solid Wood Craftsmanship
Crafted entirely from genuine solid wood, every contour and delicate curve of this cabinet demands master artisan woodworking. Running your hands over the smooth, sculpted horn detail and rounded frame reveals the tactile richness of true timber. Every piece possesses a distinct organic personality - showcasing sweeping continuous grain patterns, warm tonal depth, micro-textures, and unique timber knots that enrich in beauty over time. The dense, heavy timber construction also acts as a natural acoustic dampener for your audio setup.
Why Choose This Gramophone Console?
- Iconic Sculptural Gramophone Horn: The integrated solid wood horn sculpture adds a poetic visual tribute to vintage phonographs, serving as a captivating conversation piece.
- Multi-Tier Vinyl Storage Cubbies: Features two wide, deep lower compartments specially proportioned to hold 12-inch LP vinyl albums vertically, alongside an upper shelf for audio receivers, amplifiers, or accessories.
- Organic Wave Frame & Branch Accents: Softly contoured side profiles with branch-like extensions blend raw nature with functional furniture design.
- Stable Pedestal Feet: Carved solid wood legs provide a grounded, steady foundation to minimize turntable vibration during playback.

Honest Limitations & Maintenance
- Natural Wood Characteristics: As an authentic hand-carved solid wood creation, natural variations in grain direction, tonal shading, and timber knot signatures are genuine marks of real wood craft.
- Decorative Horn Sculpture: The carved horn is an artistic structural feature designed for aesthetic impact rather than acoustic sound amplification.
- Care Instructions: Dust regularly with a soft, dry or microfiber cloth. Keep away from direct heat sources and standing water to preserve the smooth protective finish.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
