Monumental Woodland Architecture Meets Cozy Hearthside Living
Center your primary living room, grand cabin salon, or fireside lounge with this monumental handcrafted live-edge solid wood coffee table by Ashdeco. Carved from a massive single slab of dense natural timber and supported by a pair of monolithic, hand-sculpted tree-trunk stump pedestals, this piece brings the raw, untamed majesty of ancient old-growth forests directly into your living space. Designed with natural undulating bark edges and a sprawling low-profile surface, it commands attention alongside generous sectionals and stone fireplaces, creating a conversational gathering hearth for festive holiday spreads, coffee table books, and everyday gatherings.
Authentic Handcrafted Solid Wood Craftsmanship
Crafted entirely from genuine solid wood slabs, carefully leveling and smoothing the natural live-edge perimeter while stabilizing the heavy sculpted stump base requires master-level subtractive woodworking artistry. Running your hands across the silky timber surface reveals deep grain contrast, warm golden-amber heartwood, and dark organic sapwood contours. Every single coffee table possesses its own distinct natural identity - showcasing continuous cathedral swirls, organic knots, natural bark undulations, and authentic timber signatures that deepen in character over time. A specialized waterproof and scratch-resistant matte protective seal shields the timber against daily coffee mugs, holiday entertaining, and ambient humidity while preserving its smooth, natural touch.
Why Choose This Live-Edge Stump Coffee Table?
- Monolithic Tree-Stump Pedestal Base: Heavy solid-wood stump bases provide an ultra-low center of gravity, ensuring rock-solid, wobble-free stability.
- Authentic Undulating Live Edge: Retains the natural organic profile and distinctive sapwood-to-heartwood contrast of real felled timber.
- Expansive Low-Profile Entertaining Surface: Wide tabletop slab accommodates holiday centerpieces, art books, cocktail trays, and daily living essentials with ease.
- Versatile Modern Aesthetic: Pairs effortlessly with rustic luxury, Japandi, organic modern, wabi-sabi, alpine chalet, and contemporary lodge interiors.

Honest Limitations & Maintenance
- Natural Wood Variations: As an authentic handcrafted solid wood creation, natural variations in live-edge perimeter contours, slab thickness, grain swirls, shade depth, and subtle wood knot signatures are genuine marks of real wood craft.
- Substantial Solid Wood Mass: Due to the dense, high-grade timber construction, this table carries significant weight; two-person lifting is strictly recommended when moving or repositioning.
- Coffee Table Only: This listing includes the solid wood coffee table only; sofa, holiday cushions, Christmas tree, fireplace decor, candles, holiday greenery wreath, and sheepskin rug are sold separately.
- Care Instructions: Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Promptly wipe away beverage spills and melted candle wax with a clean, damp cloth, avoiding abrasive chemical cleaners to protect the smooth wood finish.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
