Raw Woodland Sculpture Meets Timeless Architectural Accent
Transform your entryway pillar, sunlit hallway gallery, or living room accent wall with this handcrafted live-edge solid wood burl wall clock by Ashdeco. Carved directly from an authentic cross-section timber slab, this piece preserves the tree’s natural growth rings, raw undulating bark edge, and organic naturally occurring voids. Contrasting a rich golden-amber heartwood dial against pale blonde sapwood contours and finished with clean minimalist numeric indicators, it brings the unhurried organic cadence of the forest directly into your daily routine.
Authentic Hand-Carved Solid Wood Craftsmanship
Crafted entirely from genuine solid wood slabs, carefully leveling the live-edge slab face while smoothing the interior hollow voids and perimeter contours demands master-level artisan woodworking. Running your hands across the silky timber surface reveals deep annual ring layers, warm honey-amber heartwood contrast, and the substantial tactile presence of authentic wood. Every single timepiece possesses its own distinct natural identity - showcasing unique burl grain swirls, hollow knot signatures, and natural bark fissures that deepen in character over time. A silent, non-ticking high-torque quartz movement powers the sleek black hands, while a clear protective matte seal shields the timber against ambient humidity and dust.
Why Choose This Live-Edge Burl Wall Clock?
- Authentic Tree Cross-Section Silhouette: Showcases the genuine organic boundary, sapwood-to-heartwood tones, and natural grain rings of real felled timber.
- Hand-Sculpted Organic Voids: Natural timber apertures allow the underlying wall color and shadows to filter through, creating a dynamic floating visual effect.
- Whisper-Quiet Quartz Movement: High-precision, non-ticking mechanism ensures completely silent operation for serene living spaces, bedrooms, and quiet studies.
- Concealed Flush Wall Mounting: Engineered with a heavy-duty recessed keyhole mounting bracket on the reverse for a balanced, flush presentation against drywall or plaster.
- Versatile Modern Aesthetic: Pairs effortlessly with Japandi, organic modern, rustic luxury, wabi-sabi, and Mediterranean warm minimalist interiors.

Honest Limitations & Maintenance
- Natural Wood Variations: As an authentic handcrafted solid wood creation, natural variations in live-edge perimeter shape, void placement, timber rings, and subtle wood knot signatures are genuine marks of real wood craft.
- Wall Anchoring Recommended: Due to the dense solid timber slab weight, using a sturdy drywall anchor or securing directly into a wall stud is recommended for installation.
- Wall Clock Only: This listing includes the solid wood clock with quartz mechanism and flush mounting hardware only (requires 1 AA battery, not included); console table, potted succulent, decorative river stones, and background plants are sold separately.
- Care Instructions: Dust gently along the grain and hollow voids with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid spraying liquid cleaners directly onto the clock face to protect the wood finish and internal quartz movement.
Furniture Placement
- Position your furniture away from direct sunlight, or use blinds or curtains to reduce sun exposure.
- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.
- In areas with high humidity, use a dehumidifier to maintain an ideal moisture balance.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
