Glass Notice
This version of the cabinet is made without glass panels.
A glass-front cabinet with a hand-carved mushroom tree growing inside it.
Open the single arched glass door and there it is: a twisted solid wood tree trunk climbing from the cabinet floor to the top, with five mushroom-cap shelves branching off at alternating sides as it rises. Each mushroom cap holds whatever you put on it: ceramics, figurines, small plants, books, candles. The trunk spirals slightly left of center, so the shelves stagger naturally from side to side instead of stacking straight up. Six usable display levels total, including the floor.
The Mushroom Shelves
Five shelves, each carved as a full mushroom cap with ribbed gill detail on the underside. The caps vary in width and angle as they move up the trunk. The lowest shelf sits close to the base with room for heavier objects. The highest shelf near the top is the widest, good for a few small items or one larger object. Every cap surface is hand-sanded flat for stable display.
The Tree Trunk
Carved from a single solid wood section. The trunk twists and tapers as it climbs, following a natural spiral instead of a straight vertical line. Bark-like texture is left on parts of the surface where it adds character. Where the mushroom caps meet the trunk, the joints are carved to look like natural growth points rather than mechanical attachments.
The Frame and Door
The outer frame is solid wood with vine and leaf carvings running across the top corners, down both side stiles, and into the bottom apron. The carvings flow into the leg bases, tying the whole frame together as one continuous design. One full-height glass door with an arched top panel sits on three bronze hinges (right side). A carved wooden handle on the left side of the door opens it. The glass gives you a full view of the interior without opening anything.
The Side Panel
A narrow glass panel on the right side lets light into the cabinet from two directions. The back panel is solid wood with a darker walnut-toned grain that contrasts with the lighter honey-amber frame, so objects inside stand out against a darker background.
Legs
Four cabriole-style legs with carved vine detailing that continues from the bottom rail of the frame. The legs curve outward slightly at the base for stability. Short enough to keep the cabinet's center of gravity low, tall enough for airflow and cleaning underneath.
Wood and Finish
Honey-golden solid wood frame with a hand-applied oil finish. The back panel uses a darker wood tone for contrast. All vine carvings, mushroom caps, trunk texture, and leg details are carved by hand by our Vietnamese artisans. Zero MDF, zero veneer, zero composite.

- Always set your furniture on a level surface to preserve its balance and structure.
Cleaning & Upkeep
- Regularly wipe down your furniture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, as these can ruin the finish and damage the wood.
Weight Capacity & Use
- Respect the recommended weight limit for each piece to ensure its durability.
- When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging or pushing to prevent surface scratches or joint damage.
Preventing Mold & Mildew
- Quickly wipe up any spills to stop moisture from penetrating the wood.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
