A solid wood armoire with two hand-carved mushrooms standing on top.
Two doors, two mushroom handles, two mushroom sculptures on the crown. The cabinet body is clean and minimal, with every vertical edge rounded smooth instead of squared off. The wood grain runs vertically on both doors and side panels, with natural knots visible in the surface. No carving on the body itself. The only sculptural detail is where it counts: the mushroom handles at door height and the pair of carved mushrooms rising from the top.
The Top Mushrooms
Two hand-carved mushroom sculptures grow from the center of the top surface. The left one is shorter with a compact cap. The right one stands taller with a wider cap and a longer curved stem. Both stems curve organically upward rather than standing straight. The caps have smooth rounded tops and carved gill lines underneath. They are fixed directly to the top panel and carved from the same wood species as the cabinet body.
The Doors and Handles
Two full-height doors meet at a center seam. Each door has one small mushroom-shaped pull handle positioned at mid-height near the center line. The handles are smaller and squatter than the top sculptures, sized to fit comfortably in your hand. Hinges are fully concealed, so the front face shows nothing but wood and the two mushroom pulls.
Interior
The full-height interior opens to a single tall compartment. Depending on your needs, it can be configured with a hanging rod for clothing, adjustable shelves for folded items and linens, or left open for larger storage. Contact us during ordering to specify your preferred internal layout.
Rounded Edges
All four vertical corners of the cabinet body are heavily rounded. The rounding is wide enough that you can run your hand along any edge without hitting a sharp angle. This applies to the top edges, bottom edges, and every vertical corner of the frame. The result is a softer profile that looks less like a standard box and more like furniture someone actually shaped by hand.
Base
A raised plinth base with a slight reveal between the cabinet body and the floor. The plinth keeps the wood off direct contact with the ground and adds a finished look to the bottom edge. Stable on flat surfaces without wall anchoring, though anchoring hardware is included for safety.
Wood and Finish
Honey-amber solid wood throughout with visible grain and natural knots. Hand-applied oil finish protects the surface and brings out the warmth of the wood without adding a glossy coat. The body, doors, handles, and top mushrooms are all carved from the same wood. Zero MDF, zero veneer, zero composite material anywhere in the piece.

No two tables are ever the same
Every plank carries its own grain, color, and knots. These aren't flaws - they are time's signature, the fingerprint of a tree that lived for decades. When you touch a Ashdeco table, you're touching the years it stood through.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our pieces, commissions, and care.
How long does shipping take?
In Vietnam: 3-5 days. International: 10-14 days. Larger pieces (tables, cabinets) may take longer due to custom crating. All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated by weight + dimensions at checkout. You'll see the exact quote before paying.
How long does a commission take?
4-8 weeks depending on complexity. A 6-seater dining table takes ~6 weeks, a console cabinet ~4 weeks, a large sideboard ~8 weeks.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
50% deposit is required when you confirm sketches. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, before shipping. Full refund within 48 hours of deposit if you change your mind.
How do I take care of my wood piece?
Wipe with a damp cloth — no chemicals. Apply wood oil 1-2 times per year (we include a starter bottle). Avoid direct sunlight and big humidity changes.
What if my piece develops cracks?
Wood expands and contracts with humidity — minor cracks are natural and part of the material. Major cracks within the first year: we fix free. After 1 year, we charge labor only.
Can I return a piece?
Ready-made pieces: 30-day returns (must arrive intact). Commissions: final sale (since they're custom-made for you). If anything arrives damaged, we'll repair or replace at no cost.
